Just like the originals. I have a couple issues -- collision doesn't seem complete, as some of my blows will be ineffective, or enemies seem to walk right through swung bats and rolled boulders. We should also have an infinite continue option, for those of us who just want to keep on playing. Other than those issues, nice job!
Awful awful controls ruin gameplay. Criminal. Really good likeness as well. It's like having your favourite dessert behind a glass screen so you can't have it. Most of the time the buttons don't work and when they do it often does something else. DD1 is marginally better then 2.
Strongly Highly not recommend for anyone to purchase...! The game controls are horrible!!! The slow motion reaction time on the 3rd one is horrible. Game controls suck period! The only good thing is the elbow move but at times fail multiples of times. I highly recommend avoiding any of their games. Waste of time and effort. Refund my purchase if you are kind!
Looks and sounds great. Controls are tricky but I still love it. Well worth the money if one considers how expensive the Atari / Spectrum / Commodore versions were years ago!
Nice port of the first three games in the Double Dragon series. If DotEmu could get the rights to Double Dragon's technological predecessor, Renegade, and the two squels made by Imagine Software and Ocean, Target Renegade and Renegade III: The Final Chapter (including all ports and version for all three games in the trilogy) that would be awesome.
Unplayable, character keept turning opposite way when using a weapon. Directional control awkward to use. Not enough buttons to perform all moves. Not been updated in a while. Wish i hadn't bought
