Notification doesn't work on Android Oreo Moto X4.
The application has very poor feedback when doing it's initial synchronization. Upon startup the application asked me to log into Feedly, then did nothing (visually) for a couple of minutes. I could navigate through the application, but no indication that I would ever be presented with my content was given. Once loaded, the UI isn't any different from most of the other reader applications out there. Layouts are okay, UI has lots of difficult to discover hooks and shortcuts, or you can menu hunt like crazy. Unless you want to use multiple services, Paperboy really isn't any better than the default Feedly App.
For two days my data pack of 1gb/day was getting over within the first half of the day without doing anything significant. First I thought its the issue with internet provider but later found out the culprit was this app. In last three days it took more than 3gb. Paid for this but not satisfied. If possible in text heavy mode, make photo placement alternate (right and left)
I admit, I've had this installed for awhile, set it up but then went back to my previous news app as this being developed. However, I went to install an app today and was somehow out of storage. Why on earth would this app eat up 6.45 gigs of storage on a device?? I looked through settings, cleared cached articles and finally needed to erase all data to get my storage back. I'm keeping it installed but there really needs to be a storage limit option is this is going to keep data for extended periods or at least a reminder notification and ability to clear data easily. I'm assuming this was caused by the number of unread articles I had? Perhaps a "snooze"option once a certain size is reached? I mean we all get busy sometimes. Anything but 6.5 gigs of storage use. Oh, I'll try to use it more too. ;)
The app is beautiful but I wish it had a slightly better mechanism for handling articles. It would be great to have an "unread" page where all the unread articles show up but still be able to see previously read articles in the "All articles" page.
Been great, but today it used 19GB of data? I've had this thing syncing for a few weeks and today it decides to use extreme amount of data!
