So far as I can tell, this app doesn't support variable speeds for podcasts. That's a deal-breaker for me. Looks like I'll have to hang on to my iPod for a while longer. (Or if it does support variable speed, the option isn't easily found.) Otherwise, I'd totally buy it and use it for my primary iTunes player.
Bizarre Every time I plug my device in while playing a podcast it either stops, switches to another podcast, or skips a few minutes back in the current podcast. I'd gladly pay for the full version if I didn't have this issue. Update : Wtf I just plugged my device in and a podcast randomly started playing!?
I loved it This is amazing. I'd give a five stars to this app. Cause i like this app so much. But the saddest part is when i move or rename my songs. I see in the songlist that will make a double some files. But one of them couldn't be opened. And i guess that's so bad. Then later i'll must reset again to make everything is back to normal.
Good but isn't doing what I downloaded it for I like the look and so far I'm happier with doubleTwist over Google Play's music player... However, I downloaded this player because it was supposed to support ALAC songs and so far none of my ALAC songs will play. Any suggestions? (At the moment I'm not willing or even able to convert ALAC over to a different format.)
Cheekychef Loved the look and feel of this app and the way it organised my media. Unfortunately the cost to upgrade it to a fully functioning app was way way way too much and unrealistic if they expect to take it to a wider market. So I will be uninstalling in favour of an alternative.
Lacking a minor but convenient feature in an otherwise perfect app Needs auto play. Auto play as in when you plug in an audio jack doubleTwist launches in the background and begins to play music immediately, continuing from where it last stopped. This is my only grip with the other wise perfect app. If this is already a feature then I have yet to find it.
New in v2.6.2
♬ Reverted to old audio focus behavior. Playback should now pause when requested by other apps (e.g. Maps). Added a setting for those users with a need to disable this.
♬ Fixed sorting of tracks in multi-disc albums.
♬ AirPlay streaming no longer forces the screen to stay on (previously needed to keep WiFi alive).
♬ Playlists are now automatically backed up as m3u files so that they can be restored in the event you ever need to use the Database Reset option.
