Works perfectly on Galaxy S5 I was skeptical about syncing over wi-fi as I had never done it with my old iPhone, but it worked well even for my large library and I was able to transfer my playlists too. I also like that synced music is accessible in the default Music app/widget. It takes a while to sync the first time but it really simplifies the process, definitely a must-have app for iTunes users.
In theory, this should be a great app. In practice, it forces your screen to be awake during the entire music syncing process, and the transfer speed (even on a 55M+ Mbps WiFi connection) is abysmal. So to the doubleTwist developer: if iSyncr is capable of a transfer speed that's at least 2-3x faster than yours and doesn't require the display to be enabled during sync (allowing it as an option, but not a requirement)... why can't you get AirSync figured out? Admittedly your apps are a whole lot prettier looking, but this isn't nearly enough. I've tried numerous times over the past several years to switch from iSyncr to doubleTwist based solely on the fact that doubleTwist has a nice UI (although you advertise it as a Material UI, which is absolutely is not), but every single time I regret it and switch back immediately. Please take this as an important bit of feedback.
Amazing with caveats Initially it is wonderful to come home and know that my library will automatically begin to sync music once I am within wifi reach. However on many occasions a completed air sync results in a missing library when utilizing the SD card (likely attributed to the latest android update). Clearing the library to allow for the library to rebuilt results in nearly 2/3 of my music to be labeled unknown artist and album with no cover art. The only fix is to remove the doubletwist directory and resync.
I really wanted this to work. I'm using a moto x pure with expandable storage. Finally I'll be able to take all my music with me camping...... Only if it worked...... It syncs only the songs it wants and consistently misses half the songs... I'm not able to manually select the folders that I want to sync which is just stupid.... It only will sync with iTunes or media players library.. Which see the songs but double twist cant seem to. The bummer is that the 10 min refund isn't even close to enough time to get it installed and tested.
BIG POS! i just purchased this because it states it is the only way the Galaxy S4 will sync. only synced about 20 songs with no album covers, then it says it can't find the rest of 900+ other songs. iTunes or other apps i have tried has no problem finding them. i was looking for something with more features. Not sure what all the Hype is about this program/POS! of course is says you can get a refund in the first 15 minutes of purchasing it. Kind of funny how you can't find any way of doing so.
Too Slow I just wanted an app that would let me sync my itunes playlists to my android. This app does work, but synching is so slow (MacBook Pro to Nexus 5) that it's almost impractical. There does not seem to be a reason either. Please just let me get music on my phone and not have it take 8 hours to do so! It's as long as if my the app is actually listening to every song before it send the file over.
