Not what it tries to be Wanted to like it. Did not read all the blah blah and only find out that it is far more limited than it sells it self to be
It works, but it always takes effort Every time I want to use AirSync, I have to force my PC and tablet to see each other again.
iSyncr for syncing and DT for Podcasting I switched to iSyncr for syncing the music and audio on my Mac to my Android. The Mac desktop tool seems to always have issues connecting with my iTunes library and also syncing takes forever. I now use DT exclusively for Podcasting. It's still the best Android podcast tool out there.
ITunes+doubletwist+AirSync Downloaded Doubletwist on my HTC 1 M8 and on my iMac attempting to sync my iTunes playlists and music. Since the phone does not support 'mass USB' storage I paid for AirSync as recommended. The app launches, playlists are pulled in and phone and iMac are joined. Selecting the playlists to sync and starting the process seems to work, unfortunately, on completion they are not shown on the doubletwist app. Conclusion is that the app does not work and I've wasted the money on the airsync functionality.
With the recent update I am not able to use airsync with my mac and my device won't even show up if I plug it into the computer
Using with a Mac. Works to a degree but hugely buggy. Considering uninstalling although I have yet to find a reliable alternative app that interacts well with iTunes. My main 2 gripes: 1. Duplicate tracks. Itunes tells me I have 5868 tracks in my library. Airsync tells me (on the desktop app) that I have 9939. This is due to large numbers of tracks being detected and transferred twice (or more occasionally). Manually deleting only works for a few minutes: the deleted tracks then re-appear. It's really frustrating to have to listen to the same track twice/skip it when listening to an album on the move. 2. Syncing via wi-fi takes a looooooooong time (my library was going to take approximately 29 hours to transfer). Due to some quirk in the programme design, you can only transfer music via a wired connection if your phone can be set to "USB mass storage mode". As I undertsand it, the HTC One M8 does not have this capability. As a result of this, I've had to use an alternative app to upload my library via a wired connection and am trying to use Airsync to update it as I buy new music.
