HOW IT WORKS:
Dozy is based on a therapy technique called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, or CBT-i for short. CBT-i has been proven effective in multiple meta-analyses and is recommended as a first-line treatment for insomnia by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Physicians. Modules include Sleep Restriction Therapy, Stimulus Control Therapy, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, and more.
The app helps you track your sleep, then uses some initial data to make a customized care plan. Each morning, you answer a few simple questions about how you slept. Once per week, you'll check-in with the app, and it'll help you improve your approach to sleep - sometimes with a new technique, sometimes with an adjustment to what you're already doing. Your sleep coach will be available to advise you or make changes to your plan. The main program takes most people 6-8 weeks.
