Does what it says. As mentioned in the description, this doesn't come with music, nor honestly, does it really help you organize your music as such (much better to have a decent file management app like ASTRO or ES File Explorer to actually do the boring prep of organizing your tracks into folders). But the app does, with a little preparation, provide a way of introducing music and environmental sounds into your RPG experience seamlessly. Sure, you could just shuffle tracks on your regular media player, but this app allows you to easily create playlists for specific scenes in advance and then, with only a couple quick taps of the finger, add environmental effects as they're triggered by in-game events. Adventurers go to the tavern? Start your selection of "tavern music" tracks. They start an unexpected brawl? Trigger your "breaking glass" sounds. Yes, it requires some preparation and forethought, but the app does the job without distracting from gameplay or being otherwise intrusive. There is a bit of a learning curve, and the icons aren't always intuitive, but it does the job as described without being encumbered by a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles.
Dev is AWOL Unfortunately it seems that the Dev for this app is no longer supporting it. The link to files no longer works and neither does his contact e-mail address. This is sad because I would otherwise give this 4 stars, taking off one because the UI is a tad confusing at first and could benefit by some restructuring. However, as far as being an app that serves the purpose I needed, it definitely works better than anything else I've found out there for Android. If you want a sound management app for tabletop gaming that allows you to fully customize the music and sound effects you import, then this is not a bad choice at all. I'm not even angry about buying the donation version because the app itself is worth more than $2 IMHO. I really did want to have easy access to more sounds and icons though. That would have been convenient.
Needs update For the first time, I added an icon to a scene (one of the stock files from your download pack)... Now trying to edit any scene freezes the app. :(
Nice little tool. This program is really nice if you want to add some atmosphere to your pen and paper games.
Media download link is not working Neither is developers email address
Worthless Finding your music within this app is next to impossible.
- Fixed a crash that was hapenning when an event or a scene had no delay and there was a very short sound/music in it
