Awsome This was incredible. Ive always been into science and space but seeing it like this just gave me an entirely new perspective and made me feel so small. My only complaint, even though you're in a ship you have to keep spinning in circles to keep the front window in front of you. Good thing im in a wheelchair because you couldn't just sit on you're couch and take the trip. Well worth the effort though.
thoughtful solar system zoomer This app is too slow paced to use as a first VR demo for people with short attention spans. The content at the end: several enormous stellar objects were fun. One can imagine what it would be like look at even larger, or more exotic objects in space. I hope the authors receive enough funding and encouragement to go forward.
Firstly, this isn't a game; it's a tour of the solar system and maybe a little further. There's no question about it - I love this app. The shear magnitude of what you're seeing and the comparisons and visuals are stunning. Truly beautiful. Couple of minor niggles or maybe requests - it would be amazing if the sun was a little more active, such as solar flares and sunspots, and information was updated to be more relevant, such as the fact that Pluto and Charon are actually a binary dwarf planet pair, but other than this - amazing. SU&TMM!
Awe inspiring I'm new to VR but I've experienced quite a few VR apps and videos so far and this is one of the best experiences with this new platform that I've had! Very immersive and the graphics are awesome. I'm confused about what I read at the end of the tour though. It asked if I enjoyed the narration at the first two stops of the tour. I never stopped and went through the complete tour in one sitting. Am I supposed to take a stop on my own for the narration or is it supposed to be automatic?
Like watching a Ridley Scott/ Spielberg movie! In a word: "breathtaking"! This is one of the apps that make a cheap cardboard a big value for money! I stared agape as I saw the first scene where the Earth and moon stood tiny next to the enormous Sun! If I remember correctly the first app that made me curious about the space was Stellarium. And here is the app that just added more curiosity, and awe, fear to my interest! Experience of a lifetime through a single app! Unbelievable!!!
Awesome! The only reason it didn't give it a 5 star, because I wanted a little bit more animations with the sun and planets. For example if you look at the sun in star chart and just replace it with that sun it would've been awesome. Otherwise the app is great and beautiful I'll be looking for updates. I'll support an hd version with all the bells and whistles. Great work!
* Improved stability for a wider range of devices (LG G3 being the main one). Please note that you'll still need a powerful phone for a comfortable VR experience!
* New checkpoint feature - you no longer need to finish the entire tour in one sitting!
* Updates for Ceres and Pluto based on new mission data.
* All text is now easier to read in VR.
* Small adjustments for most planets and moons.
