WE ARE AWARE THAT THE RELEASE OF LOLLIPOP HAS CAUSED SOME PROBLEMS FOR THE APP AND ARE WORKING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE
There only workaround is to disable mobile network data before connecting to the WiFi network.
Start from the Launcher after installation to be workable.
This application opens the keyboard choose dialog each time you connect/disconnect your device to/from dock.
Use it to easily switch to your favorite on-screen keyboard when undocking and switch back to hardware keyboard when docking.
Also you can add a shortcut to the keyboard choosing dialog to your home screen or to the notification area.
Unfortunately this application cannot silently switch the keyboard for you. It's the Android security restriction which can be avoided only with root access. But this application doesn't require root.
This app does NOTHING else. No background processes, no app icons.
There is *no* configuration. If you don't want it to be active, you have to uninstall it. Sorry.
** NOTICE **
This application works for most users, but not everyone. If the app doesn't seem to do the job for you, we recommend seeking out a similar app from the Market. We built it to be as lightweight as possible but that does not provide full-functionality to some devices. We do not intend to release an updated version in the near future.
So you can put a magnet on your holster, fool your phone into thinking it's in a car dock, and automatically shut off your screen (and change your ringer mode) when you holster your phone.
Note: To access ringer mode settings, start Holster Snooze from the launcher (the screen should blank) and then press the menu key.
Note: You need to make Holster Snooze your default Car Dock application for this to work. If you change your mind later, this default can be cleared in Home Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
Here's what happened:
I ran into a friend a few days ago. He told me how his BlackBerry had died and Verizon replaced it with a Droid 2 Global. Overall, he was happy, but his BlackBerry used to automatically shut off the screen when he holstered it, and his Droid 2 Global didn't. This resulted in his phone battery charge not lasting all day.
I said: I can fix that!
The result is this app. Reasoning that other people might want to do the same as my friend, I offer it here in the market.
Note: I only had my original Droid to test this app. I assume that this app is likely more hardware dependent than others. Please let me know what your device is and whether it works or not for you.

The 1st Antispy App that gives you complete control! In this day and age privacy is a big concern. There are many invasive apps out there that discretely collect your personal information as well as track your location, record your conversations and even video record you.
D-Vasive Anti Spy is the 1st Antispy App that will help protect your privacy from these invasive apps by alerting you if an application is trying to spy on you, using your phone's Camera, Microphone, Bluetooth or WiFi connections and gives you the ability to lock them. D-Vasive Anti Spy also lists running and installed apps that have access to tracking your location.
11/22/14 Thanks to our users for the valuable feedback and suggestions! We have released another update!
- Major battery enhancement for locking down camera
- New feature requires Android 4.0 and up
- Still compatible with Android versions less than 4.0
- Faster start up
D-Vasive Anti Spy is not your typical Anti-Spyware. The typical anti-spyware relies on a database of known definitions and then scans every single file on your phone to compare with. This does not offer real protection as there are viruses and spyware being created everyday. So, a recently made virus or spyware will be unknown to the database, bypassing your typical anti-spyware software and able to access your system. D-Vasive Anti Spy offers a layer of protection that is in your control and is very reliable. D-Vasive Anti Spy operates in a unique way, allowing you complete control in managing your mobile devices internal hardware. So that way, when a potential malicious app tries to open your Camera, Mic, Bluetooth or WiFi and spy on you, D-Vasive Anti Spy lets you know, and lets you completely lock them down.
D-VASIVE FREE VERSION
Here is what D-Vasive Anti Spy Free will do to secure your privacy:
• Detect when an app starts your Camera
• Detect when an app starts your Microphone
• Detect when Bluetooth is activated
• Detect when WiFi is activated
• List which apps are tracking your location
• You can change alert options
• Set desired interval between checks
D-VASIVE PRO VERSION
D-Vasive Anti Spy Pro version offers additional features to completely secure your privacy:
• Secure Camera
• Secure Microphone
• Secure Bluetooth
• Secure WiFi
• Pause detection alerts
• Increased amount of logs
• Precise dial control
• Silent alert mode
Once you run D-Vasive Anti Spy on your device it is already working and protecting your privacy. You can then customize which alerts you want to receive and set how often D-Vasive Anti Spy should check to see if your internal hardware is in use. When you exit or close D-Vasive Anti Spy you are still protected as it will be working in the background. For more information check out the FAQ on our website: http://dvasive.com

**** NOTE ****
Motorola released a software update to the Droid Razr in Feb 2012 that partially breaks Razr Dock. If you do not have a physical dock (either car or desktop), you should not have any trouble. If you dock you phone, undock it, and try to run Razr Dock... it will fail. If you use your dock, you will need to reboot your phone to make Razr Dock work again.

Just launch the app once after installing to set it up and then never worry about it again. When you put the device in a dock the rotation is forced to the correct orientation for your dock and when you take it back out it reverts to your previous settings. No fuss, no hassle.
I've tested this on my Nexus 7 in the official Nexus 7 dock and I've also had reports it works with the Galaxy Nexus as well. Note that some third party docks or wireless chargers aren't recognised by Android as docks, but you can still use the app with them by enabling forced rotation when charging from the settings menu. Please get in touch to let me know if you have problems with your device or dock.
Credits: The app was written and designed by me. One of the screenshots shows Spotify, which I am in no way responsible for; it just demonstrates my app applying forced rotation from portrait to landscape. The launcher icon is courtesy of Android Asset Studio.
★ Block Internet access on a per-app basis
★ Separate mobile data (GPRS/3G/4G) and WiFi access control
★ Restore the blocked networks by tapping the notification icon
★ No root required
It would be useful to add e-book reader apps to the blocked apps list so "Net blocker" can
help to disable the Internet connection when you are reading. It helps to reduce waste on your data plan usage
and save the battery life.
To block networks for specified apps
1. Open "Net blocker"
2. Tap app that you would like to block it from accessing the Internet access
3. Check the network types that you'd like to block
4. "Net blocker" app will automatically disable the Internet connection when the blocked app is running in the foreground
5. A new notification icon will tell you which networks are blocked
6. Tap the notification icon to restore the Internet connection, tap again to disable the Internet
"Net blocker" only blocks the networks when the blocked app runs in the foreground.
It won't prevent blocked apps from accessing the Internet when the app runs in the background.
For Android 4 or greater users, you can restrict background network accessing by going to
Launcher > Settings > Data usage > tap app that you'd like to block > check "Restrict background data" option.
