After update to version 2.x Awesome job ! No more re logging. Quick and easy. Tip option on card reader is better than the other player in the market. Give this start up company a chance !
**UPDATE*** I have changed rating fir the time being. Apparently thethe Bluetooth on my Samsung S5 wasn't connecting properly. I just found this out by trying to transfer files to my new phone. I was sent a new POS so im willing to give it another shot. **Previous review** Any time I have the opportunity to use it I can't log in, its trying to update, or the reader doesn't connect. In fact I'm trying to update now. It's been 1/2 an hour and the it's still at 0% transferred files. I'm just getting more and more frustrated with this system. I think I'm just going to say screw it and stick with square.
I really want to love this, but about half the time the reader won't connect and I need to get my Square out. Thank goodness most of the customers I've had it crash on had cash or credit too - I almost lost a sale but thankfully the woman went to take some money out at an ATM. For the last 6 hours I haven't been able to log in at all, even though my Square is working fine, so its not a low signal issue. I'll be buying the new Square debit reader for my next show.
Works good, yes it has some bugs for example you can't swipe cards, you have to fully close the app otherwise it can cause issues and you occasionally have to hard reset the device but with that in mind, no monthly fees and decent transaction fees it is worth it!
Using with Samsung Galaxy S8, Bluetooth connects easily, stays connected for hours no problem. Must uninstall/reinstall to force QuickBooks product/price list to update to device. Tap available for credit cards, must insert for chip debit cards. Still working great after first month...
Don't buy the device.. Do not down load the app. I got it for Christmas last year for my home business.. Tried to use it at my first show and it wouldn't work. I was told it was defective and because I was over the warranty they will not exchange.
