Been playing for 8 years across many accounts and have enjoyed every second of it. They add new content all the time and it's easy to progress without spending money if you play optimal. The aspect that I love the most about the game is that a level can seem impossible until you learn the trick to beat the enemies like switching to a different artifact or moving your heros around in your lineup. I've recommended this game to friends more times than I can count, and it will always be my favorite.

Thanks for your long term support for the game! Adjusting your equipment, artifacts, or lineup may have unexpected results. To keep the game active, we have been constantly updating the events, and players can get great rewards and improve their heroes' strength from each update. Look forward to your continued enjoyment of the game!

For players who don't spend much money, there's pretty much nothing to do after a certain level. There's hardly any progress for us and they keep keep expanding the gap between spenders and free players so pvp is a non factor unless you're spending hundreds each week. It's getting boring as of late and it keeps getting worse. I used to be a low spender, but at this point I don't think I'd ever spend anything else on this game. I even end up quitting for a while every so often now.

So there is a ton of really varied marketing for this game, and you'd think that it's a game to end all games by all of it! This game had been portrayed as a MOBA-like game, a match 3 game, a dress up game, a game based off some quirky cartoon, and on and on. But after some hands on time with it, it's a downright bog standard hero mobile RPG dripping with microtransactions (though "micro" is used loosely) Its got all the hallmarks of every other hero based mobile RPG. You summon up heroes of varying quality, grind them through a "campaign" style mode, upgrade them incrementally, and so on. One really stand out thing from my time with it is the great look and animations, and the upgrading does feel good, but that's at the cost of a HUGE amount of grinding if you want to play for free, and the leveling happens so incrementally it's actually not doing much at all. All in all, it's not awful, but it's inescapably average at best.
