Terrible new app icon! I really HATE IT! Great to have a new place to keep your files. I use it like an external hard drive. But opening up an Excel file in Dropbox shows a blacked out screen in some files in various places if there's a background color. I emailed screen shots to tech support but no response.
Dropbox forced me to buy a NAS to host my own files. Too inflexible, too long to address serious security flaws, and I can't even pick my own working directory so that the apps I want to open files with can access the files??? I only use Dropbox to share files with people not savvy enough to have their own NAS.
In general I'm very happy with dropbox, but this app is just so-so. I can't preview pictures in my folders. Every time I tap on one pic, completly different pic form the same folder is opened on full screen. This problem makes this app kinda useless to me.
Don't bother using this app. I used it for a while and had lots of business and school files lost twice. No one can explain why this happened since I didn't delete the files and they weren't shared with anyone who could delete them. After a year, I logged in to look for files I needed and, again, a large number of files were deleted and cannot be recovered. Don't even waste your time with this app.
New logo colours give eye strain to look at. The blue-tinged off-white is made all the more glaring by the blue-hued light spectrum of mobile device screens.
Overall drop is great but I don't like using Dropbox because 2gb of cloud is not enough for most of people, why not use Google drive has more storage space of 15gb free, I hope developer would do something Google drive has done thank you
