Review from Beth Renquist
One of the best! Easy, fast, the best app! I tried every app transfer i could, even paid for one. Then I found Drop box...in 2 hours ive transfered everything from phone to tablet with ease. MUST HAVE!
Sharing Have written a support ticket to help with why my share links are disabled. Did not get any response back after two entire months and share link does not generate excessive traffic. Very annoyed at the bad service from Dropbox.
Good, but could be better. Dropbox is a decent app, with flaws. I find the app uncomfortable to navigate with limitations on function. Sharing any file or picture is a hit or miss; sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it does. The "save to device" option is broken. I can upload, but I can not download. I have recently upgraded my phone and geting my pictures downloaded onto my new device, is a daunting task; from the app. This is a promising app, but some UI restructuring is definitely needed.
Dodgy permissions so not updating Files have not been synced immediately after being edited in the last few updates. I.e. I edit and save a file on my phone, and it is only after rebooting my phone that the file syncs. Please fix.
Great cross platform service The thing I like the most about DropBox is that it's cross platform: Android - Check; Linux - Check, Windows - Check, Mac - Check. Most of the alternatives, including Google Drive are not as cross platform as DropBox.
Does as advertised The UI is simple and very easy to navigate. Only issue I have, it's more of Dropbox itself. I can't upload certain files. Other than that the new icon looks spiffy.
I see that Dropbox removed main feature I giving from 1 star to 5 star for integrating longest waiting feature. Offline folders. thank you so much
