Review from A Google User
Poor of settings Great app but need more features
Looks great, works well AND supports Ubuntu, but needs removable storage support. An application like this is only as good as the service behind it, and this is where Dropbox excels - it works flawlessly, securely and even has a native client available for Linux-based operating systems (Ubuntu and SteamOS)! My only real complaint is the lack of support for removable storage (such as Micro SDXC memory cards), for which a star is lost...
Ever since the latest Updates, I occasionally have to actually START Dropbox on my phone to get it to sync with my computer. This just started happening a couple updates ago. I use my phone to take pictures for my eBay business so I'm taking pictures EVERY day and syncing them with my computer to crop, rotate etc in Photoshop prior to creating my listing. This glitch has become a VERY noticeable interruption of my work flow. This isn't an app killer, but it certainly IS an annoyance.
Does as advertised The UI is simple and very easy to navigate. Only issue I have, it's more of Dropbox itself. I can't upload certain files. Other than that the new icon looks spiffy.
If I select too many items from my photo gallery to upload to dropbox, I got told "Too many items selected. Try uploading via the Dropbox app instead." What? I'm doing the Dropbox app.
Awesome online storage app Fantastic. Syncs PC CELLPHONE TAB LAPTOP in 1 click
Love it I really love this app, easy to use and fast ! thanks
