Ratings and reviews

Serious problems with bike unlocking, but you'll avoid them if you ensure the app lists the bike as available first. Also, the requested permissions feel intrusive, though I know they're needed to prevent all that theft. Even then, they shouldn't try to sugarcoat the request measages so heavily. Makes them seem optional and for my benefit, when they are neither — confusing and irritating. All in all, though, grateful to Northampton for reviving the program, and for the hour-per-day memberships.

Was a little confusing the first time unlocking a bike. I didn't know it would lock if I didn't undock the bike within a few seconds, and then it wanted me to complete a trip with a photo even though I hadn't even undocked the bike yet. I swiped away from taking the photo and then couldn't find it again but eventually figured it out with only moderate cursing.

Asking for a phone number, an email address and a GOVERNMENT ID just to look and see if I even WANT to use this app? Get knotted. What an intrusive piece of garbage.
