Only I doslike is the lack of open world...GOF2HD set the bar for space sims and gave us a mobile version of what many consider our beloved X series. This is still a great game by all means, the controls are good, the graphics amazing, the voice and music is awesome. Just wish they had stuck to open world. Maybe we can hope for the next one. I will still be playing this and GOF2HD in the mean time. All in all, well done Devs!
Even the best graphics on mobile wont let you earn any money - If no support for current devices like my Galaxy Tab A 10.1/2016. Paid for GOF 2 HD twice! On Blackberry Playbook OS long time ago and Android and was looking forward for the third installment.
Overall game and missions are nowhere near as good as the previous, it's all the same 3 or 4 missions... Trying to play without spending 7.99 every other day doesn't really get you anywhere either I can't bring myself to play for more than 30 mins at a time, gof2 was gripping... This isnt
One word. It's not offline and definitely not designed to entertain. It's all about keeping strict control to keep you in line in order to line their pockets. Without Internet it refuses to start and most of times you only see server response timed out. Worked only once. Nope this is not a game at all.
Missions get repetitive and theres not much of a storyline to the game like in gof2. Gof2 was miles better regarding upgrades and ships, I really hate p2w games and this is no exception. Needs external gamepad control support though. Also has some graphical glitches such as informant ships not showing an explosion when destroyed or 'scanning' side bars just displaying static white images. Buggy when using watch adverts option frequently getting stuck on 'loading' overlay while still running game which gets irritating... Shame really.
Good controls and graphics. But the game is boring repetitive missions and is a long grind unless you want to pay real money for upgrades. The gameplay doesn't hold a candle to GOF2
