waited a long time for this to get released on android. I know it will be just as good if not better than galaxy on fire 2 (loved that game too). Running on Samsung Galaxy S8 with no issues. After playing it for while, I think GOF2 was definitely better, but this game is still good.
Was pretty awesome until the new update today. Ads before every mission are super discouraging for me to play any longer than 2 or 3 missions. I've spent money on this game already so why do I have to sit through ads? Rating dropped until this is fixed.
GOF2 Allowed so much more freedom for a pilot. I Really Enjoyed configuring my DarkAngel & Bloodstar just the way I wanted them. Buying& Selling Ships& Equipment. Searching for just the right Gear from the Diff.Stations are some of the things I Miss. Honestly I rather mine Cores then repeat the same Six Mission's over & over to earn some$$. What I do like of GOF3 is being able to fly through the different structures, & the updated option to watch a commercial to continue the stage I'm on.
Only been playing few weeks, but still not feeling it.. GoF2 I Loved with an open style play with great story.I just feel this is a more linear play and also looks like it going to cost to get the higher tier ships.. Shame more game devs going this route..
Too Repetitive. I want to have seamless exploration, pirates, and space parts/resources much like GOF2. GOF2 had a similar setup that Zelda's Breath of the Wild has. This "3 star" style game doesn't work for me unless there's a new puzzle every time. I'll give them props for graphics and okay voice acting. Not enough music variety, though. When playing GOF2, I played it endlessly and kept coming back for more and got all the expansion dlc, but this...tried it and don't want to continue.
Edit: revoke what I said about this game being good at all. Good luck navigating the in-game item options. Tapping literally any option in the sparse customizations available will load up an ad for boosters. To set the record straight, this is a good game in and of itself. Now, the problem is this game does not exist by itself, because it had a predecessor. One with much greater depth, freedom, and complexity. One that had an upfront cost, but no additional cost other than gameplay to unlock all content. One that had smoother, more interactive flight characteristics. A much greater game than this. I understand why a switch to free-mium content makes sense fiscally. The visuals are also stunning. But when you compare this to the second rendition, including its DLC, this is another arcade game, not even at attempt at being a space simulator. Where is the trade? Docking? Communication? Manual targeting? Why does steering snap awkwardly upon releasing? Oh well. If you're in the mood for a quick and casual space combat, this is a great choice. I felt that GoF was and should be above that.
