I loved Galaxy on Fire 2 and eagerly looked forward to part 3. Unfortunately it seems to be worse in every way. It's frequently under 15fps on a Nexus 9. The first mission crashed after freezing for several seconds. I went back into the app and made it through that first part only to have it freeze up and crash immediately after defeating the initial pirates. I was so excited for this game and now I'm just disappointed and sad.
A modern take on the GOF series. Its not quite like GoF2, its more of a modern mobile game, but dont get it wrong, its one of the best out there. The actual gameplay is where this bad boy shines! The graphics are top notch! The controls are easy to use! Its still a growing game considering that its a new title and all.
I was a huge fan of gof 2 and even spent a lil coin on it back in the day, but this new edition has let me down. Theyve completely removed the open world space trader sim portion of the game, leaving nothing but a well executed dog fighting game. Problem is there are already a ton of those. I showed up to this party expecting depth and was treated to a stale marzipan cake. Wtf. Like marzipan is cool and all but i'm not allergic to dairy.
This is the worst entry in the Gof series, it seems like they made it a pay to play with no regards to how to make this actually playable. It's a generic space shooter instead of a fun and engaging game. I'm severely disappointed
Developers please read this. Fix the controls. They feel like I'm swinging a weight on a very long pole attached with a cord. The snapping is near-unplayable. Optimise the game. I don't care what you have to do, use lower res textures, make a standard definition version of the game, but sub 15 fps on an S7 edge is borderline unacceptable. What the hell were the beta testers doing, were they all asleep? Everyone is pissed that the game is a complete letdown in more than the aspects I've described (ie online only and no free-roam.) I've been waiting for this game since 2015. Please don't let your fanbase down.
A big step back from the previous game. Really, you need an active internet connection to play the campaign? Seriously? You do know that this is already resource-intensive as is without the online aspect, right? You can't even play this game for long because your phone heats up and battery drains quickly. The only similarity between this and GoF2 is the developers.
