About this app

Welcome to the  new revamped mobile banking app from Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited (DTB). The app provides an enhanced user experience that enables DTB account holders bank on the go wherever they are securely.

So, what can you do with this revamped app?

1. View details of your bank accounts.
2. Securely authorize transaction via a 4 digit pin or biometrically using fingerprints.
3. Utility bill presentment 5 days before bills are due for payment.
4. Access and select beneficiaries of mobile money transfer as well as airtime purchase from your phonebook.
5. Personalize your app by uploading custom profile picture.
6. Funds transfer to other banks via RTGS.
7. Locate all branch and ATM’s close to your current location.
8. Initiate chequebook requests as well as stop cheque requests.
9. Facilitates everyday/regular expenses such as household bills and payments for goods and services, including buying Airtime
10. All basic functions such as checking your balance, loading a mini-statement, update bank information, adding and deleting users on commonly used accounts


1. Fingerprint authorization for transactions is available for applicable devices only
2. Customers need to have registered for DTB mobile banking service in-order to access services on the app. Mobile banking registrations can be done at any branch.

Account is tied to use on originally installed device. It cannot be used in a new phone unless you visit a bank physically. USSD device management advises the same. Customer support is non-existent. We need better banking services. You need to do better!

Making banking easier. Ease in moving funds to and from the bank. Makes saving easier for the businessman/woman. Little or no charges for transactions. Saves costs in time and expenses moving to the bank

I'm giving this app one star because of the following reason;The app security system is not okay. It's not safe at all. If you decide to login, it must remain logged in otherwise,if you logout it will remove your entire account from the app. Each time you logout it will ask you to link your finger print even if you just linked it previously. So, once you are logged in you have to leave it logged in unless you want to keep linking your finger print each time you logout and login! No trust factor!
