Awesome and convenient Makes my payment process simple and understandable, especially when used in conjunction with the "DTE Insight" app to see how, when, and how much I'm using each hour/ day/ week/ month. I also can't complain about not having to pay a $7.99 convenience fee as compared to my other third party utility company AUM
Very Convenient & User Friendly It's so convenient having an app for our DTE Energy account. I find myself using it several times each month; to pay the bill, look at and compare our useage and have also used it several times to report and track outages. I find the DTE app extremely user friendly.
don't work anymore Worked great, was very convenient but now all of a sudden it won't let me sign in it says "there was an error communicating with dte network try again later" this has been going on for about 2 months now. I Uninstalled then installed the app again still says the same thing.
Could it possibly get any better? DTE got this right. I can do everything power related in like 30 seconds or less. They allow me to store my payment information, so all I have to do is click pay now. I can view my bill, report power problems and track my usage. If only the other utilities have an app this good. Oh that's right...they don't have any apps.
Easy to use For some reason I am logged out of the account. Maybe I changed my password but whatever. They have "guest pay" so I don't mind using that at all and it's quick, sends me a confirmation to my email. Very useful app so I don't need to leave the house.
Not happy I can't effectively use it because I denied accessing my contacts and files. There is no reason to allow that in order to report or get updates on outages. Location...maybe but not contacts. Now I'm back to using the telephone for privacy reasons.
