Very, very annoying adverts after literally every lesson unless you pay - and since you have to pay a year in advance that's not a small sum. Sometimes what they teach you isn't correct either (as per my OH who is a native speaker of one of the languages I'm learning). Very, very, very US based. App doesn't always recognise lessons that have been completed either. TL:DR I'm looking for a better language course.

Practice button has disappeared and seemingly been replaced with a button to upgrade to "Max". I'm already paying £71.88/year for Plus. Not happy that I now get pestered to pay even more for a feature I don't want (AI video calls) just to regain a feature I used to have (practice). If that doesn't get reverted this will be the last year of my 7 years subscription.

Adding to the review below which I wrote a few weeks ago.... its still not showing the lessons you've done when one of the daily challenges is to complete a number of lessons. Thats very annoying and so is that they took away the option to practice to earn hearts unless you are down to zero. Previous review - I'm still doing daily lessons after nearly 4 years. Lately it hasn't been updating the challenges, like today it wanted me to do 3 lessons - I did 4 lessons and it only showed 1!
