In general a really nice app. Unfortunately it's quite cluttered. It keeps telling me that the sync with Google drive failed even though I told it to use Dropbox and not Google drive. It would be nice if the table was editable on the DB as well, but maybe I just didn't find that option yet. Concluding, you'll get what you want but be prepared to play around ;-)
The good feature with this is its widget. Very handy. But the lacking 1 star is that, this has no option to create new project or task. It manages only one. Maybe you will have to give description each logs, but thats not cool. Please give some room for a new task or project to be monitored. Thanks.
Upgraded to full five stars. The more you use it, the more advantage you see. Simple to use. Good overviews and reports. Looking now for a good reason to purchase the paid version. I don't use Google calendar (too gabby and hard to switch back) so no advantage there. Would be great if there were a Web version.
I use this for my own consulting business. Initially I was only looking for something that would keep track of my hours. This software does everything I need it to do and more. It is simple and easy to use, but it has very advanced features that will allow you to transfer your time directly into a spreadsheet for things like a payroll. I really like that you can set your own task templates with varying degrees of pay rates. This is very helpful if you are constantly switching tasks throughout the day like I do. It keeps track of your hours, the hourly pay rate for each task. It then shows you a total for the day and a running total for the week month year so on and so forth. Its not just for time logging but also good for unit logging (specific payrate per instance of a task) For example, if you want to have a flat rate fee for something like a technical support call, you can set that as task template and then have a preset fee associated with the call. Its not just for time logging, but for unit logging as well. For example you would see a record of 20 service calls this week. Each billing $10.00 each for a total of $200.00. Great app!
I have not used it long enough to find all the extra benefits and added features, I just need to record my hours worked, but it has totally made my life easier! Love it! Thank you for creating this app!
My work is hectic, switching from job to job and this keeps track. Its perfect. The reports, sent as attattachments to my email can be cut and pasted onto a spreadaheet, re-sorted and then copied into work for further editing.
