Solid but for minor , gave me a good workout It gives a good workout on my SG3 but I noticed it would sound only once for my rest intervals. Changed settings, now only once for work. Cannot use a long-play sound yet for notification. Use only single play (e.g. "beep") and it works fine. Solid and free no adds. There is a volume setting on the app that must be put higher to hear well (default should change to 100%)
Freezes on me This timer would be good if it worked right. It continually froze at the one second mark during its countdown. This really became bothersome as I use the tabata time as a guage for improvement, so the extra rest while I reset it gave me an unwanted advantage. It would be nice if it would also allow a timed period between excercises.
Functional BUT not very good In a day of slick apps with easy UI and fun features, this app falls very short. On the good side, it is functional for a Tabata timer, there are just better ones out there. I found a superior one and I'm switching today.
Needs a pause/resume button Got a text message in the middle of a workout and it paused. When I closed the text, there was no way to resume so it made me reset and start over. Like the simplicity, though,.and easy to use.
Good Good app, visually looks good easy to use. My only suggestion is different default whistles tones, eg shorts blast to start work and long to signal finish instead of the two default long ones. Galaxy S2
Doesn't whistle while you work Great when it works: saves my settings, loudly whistles when I need to rest or start up again. Simple and great - except that frequently, it randomly decides not to blow the whistle or give me the option to change media volume. Could be a problem with my Lg optimus V, but I haven't had this trouble in other apps.
- Now you can set your own sound for every kind of signals.
- Minor UI changes.
If you experience problems after update (e.g. forceclose), try complete uninstall the timer and delete saved preferences, then install new version.
