Ratings and reviews

The graphics are amazing and the detail of the action is spectacular. However, the player control is very poor. The quarterback spontaneously throws the ball; or throws the ball to the wrong receiver. Even when thrown to the correct receiver the receivers, despite being wide open, consistently miss or drop the pass. And on defense it is impossible for the user to initiate a tackle. Last season there were buttons or other actions to press or do on the screen which gave the controlled defensive player the ability to tackle, strip the ball from the offensive player, etc.

The game itself is fantastic and has been in the past as well, but the update SUCKS!! The glitch or whatever it is, so that you cannot change defenders is horrible and needs to be fixed. I believe that the developers are trying to push out too many updates and/or contests for a new(ish) game and it is causing bugs and crashes. They should work on getting the gameplay corrected and perfected, prior to pushing out any other NEW contests!!! I mean REALLY, 3 different ones just for Halloween!!???

This game use to be good. The game is lags. I appreciate the new update, but the QB does as he pleases and the controls are faulty. When selecting who to pass too, it passes to the wrong receiver half the time causing interceptions. The events keep on crashing when I try to play them. What was wrong with the last season version? The only thing that is better is the graphics.
