Easy to use! Been using this sporadically for past 6 months to deliver food at my workplace. Quick, easy interface. I even made a mistake on my order & to remove items on the order, I called the restaurant to let them know, but I was informed I needed to contact Eat24. I was unable to find #, so sent a msg instead. By the time I found the # (15-20 mins later), and spoke to a live person, the items were already removed & credited back. I'm still learning, but it's a pretty easy process. Definitely my go-to food app.
Tip in cash, not credit. Drivers could care less about them quality of food you get. Tell it you'll use cash and base the tip on how warm the food is. Also, drivers don't seem to read the directions on how to get to your place. Past three deliveries I've gotten calls on where's your place, can you come out and get it? Sure dude, let me drive you to your next stop, too.
Credit card charged and no food First time using this app, and I got all excited ordering something from the comfort of my house, and.... They charge my credit card but the app didn't place my order to the restaurant... So now I have my money somewhere in a limbo waiting 3 to 5 days to have it back. Sometimes is definitely better to keep old school and just call directly to the restaurant.
Food made easy Love this app. It figures out tip adds it in at checkout. (For people who don't know delivery drivers are seldom at fault for slow food) I don't have to keep 20 restaurant menu's around. I just hope they add more places in my area. But I got basics pizza and Chinese.
Quick wok My order was 40 mins late. When it did arrive it was all sorts of wrong! They are very rude and inconsiderate when you tell them that they have messed up on an order and I just feel like they are a rip-off
Restaurants can cancel your order and eat24 has no idea Had a restaurant cancel my order after 90 min. Eat24 had no idea until I contacted them. The only customer service resolution was a $2 coupon and the claim that the restaurant owner would get a stern talking to. Back to grub hub.
Good news: You can now join group orders on the app*!
Better news: This is only available on Android, which means you can gloat to your friends with that *other* kind of phone.
Even better better news: Ranch.
Even more better news: Just because you ordered Ranch doesn’t mean you need to share.
*You still need a friend to start the order on desktop (for now).
