LifePath Physician

LifePath, from Canadian company Elastic Care, allows doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to view your vital signs and symptoms when you are ill, even when you cannot leave your home. Once you enroll, you answer a set of medically recommended questions on the app each day. Optionally, if you have common household devices such as a thermometer or BP monitor at hand, you may use these to enter vital signs into the app. You receive daily reminders to send in your medical data.

The information you enter is compiled and sent to your physician. This can enable them to better assess your condition remotely, and to see if any intervention is warranted. They can also contact you, using the app, issue prescriptions and can maintain and view a record of how your medical condition is evolving, on a dashboard from anywhere and at any time.

The LifePath-N app is small part of a larger, comprehensive platform for Remote Medical Monitoring. This app is available to everyone, free of charge. It will continue to be refined based on user feedback.

Elastic Care respects your privacy and understands the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your medical data. None of the information you provide, is accessible by any employee, agent or contractor of Elastic Care. Your data are stored in encrypted form in a Tier III data Center and is retained only for as long as is necessary to provide the service using this app. In any event, no material will be retained on the Elastic Care servers for more than thirty (30) days. Further information on the Elastic Care privacy policy can be found on the Elastic Care web site.
