Works alright, when it works. Autopilot works when it wants to, it seems. I never change my location/wifi settings in the app. Sometimes, it recognizes when I'm home, other times it takes pictures of me every time I move, clogging up storage and memory. I usually have schedule set for away a few degrees warmer/cooler than home but I have to force this at the thermostat manually. Defeating the purpose of having a smart device. Getting tired and about to revert to regular thermostat.

For years they can't figure out how to properly sync information between the app on your phone and the ecobee thermostat. App shows that heating is running, 3 out of 4 sensors are in use, when I don't even have a comfort setting with 3 sensors and only the fan is running. Then also good luck changing comfort setting from the ecobee itself manually. It usually changes the temperature preset, but doesn't change which sensors are used, messing everything up.

When I open the app, I get multiple prompts of remote sensor disconnects from many days ago. These are not really actionable apart from pressing the OK button, but I have to go through each of them one at time and each one takes a few seconds to load, so it takes a while before I can actually start using the app. This is a very frustrating user experience. When I launch the app, I should be able to land on the home screen quickly.
