Who are we?
We at Editorial Buen Camino have spent over 20 years creating guides for pilgrims (2004–2025). These guides are written and updated daily by pilgrim and journalist Carlos Mencos – winner of the Aymeric Picaud International Award for raising awareness of the Way of St James – together with his team.

The most used Camino app:

Just used this on the camino inglés and it was absolutely essential. I knew where I was at all times, including in that dicey forest alternative route! The pictures that you can pop up that show exactly where to go when the path might be confusing are such a great feature. Also a lot of info about where to eat and places to stay. This is the only app to get.

The app is very useful and has kept me on the Camino when my lodging has been away from it. The only thing I would like to see is not having to scroll down through the index of localities, which gets longer and longer as I go along. It would be nice if when I opened it if I opened it to where I am at. It is great for finding a place to stay.

Gracias. Tienes un botón redondo arriba a la derecha que, al pulsarlo y si estás en el Camino, te lleva a la información de la localidad en la que te encuentras.

by far the best app I have found. the edit stages option is very good as I have some 40km plus stages other apps won't accept. info is clear and well presented. maps and elevation profiles a great addition. there is a free option the owner has enabled for 2 years but if there is ever a time to support an app this is it. it's 8eu a year and without people like this we would all be immeasurably worse off.
