About this app

Edit Out Loud instantly converts your manuscript to audio and allows you to listen from your smartphone. Now you can edit your novel on the metro, while jogging, or anywhere.

Simply tap, record, or type in a comment if you hear a grammar error, plot hole, or a boring section of your novel. Comments you add while listening in the app will appear in your source doc—Word, Google Docs, or Scrivener—so you can fix them later.

You can even share audio drafts with beta readers so they can listen from anywhere and add comments back to your source document.

I've loved it so far. Keep up the good work. Hope you guys succeed in making this app the best out there. Thanks a lot for creating it too... its so incredibly helpful for me. Issues I've found.... 1) If you could delete the comments already placed. It would be even more effective 2) also able to start off the narration for any selected point should be added.

I love this app and use it almost every day for a couple of years. I play back my story in the car and on my phone. It really does help catch those typos and misspellings. (Looking forward to seeing if they add new voices in the future.)

This app is a wonderful idea but the voice really needs more work. It's tough to get rid of the robotic voice ofc, but I can't see myself using the app while my texts are being read so awkwardly and stiffly. I'll definitely be checking this app again in the future.
