About this app

The ParentVUE mobile app helps parents stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into the student’s academic experience. The mobile app works with Synergy® Student Information System (Synergy® SIS) in much the same way as the web portal, allowing parents to view student classroom assignments and scores, attendance, demographic information, and much more.
• How to find your school district and login information •
- The ParentVUE mobile app may request location permission to find school districts using Synergy® SIS. Alternatively, you can search for your school district by providing the zip code of the district office. ParentVUE lists all school districts near your location or the provided zip code.
- The ParentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. If you need help, please contact your school district’s administration for user login information.
• Requirements •
- Only school districts using Synergy® SIS v2025 and higher can support the ParentVUE mobile application. Please contact your school district’s administration to verify the Synergy® SIS version.
- An internet connection is required.
- The ParentVUE mobile app uses the same user login as the web-based portal. Contact your school district’s administration if you do not have this login information.

Ratings and reviews

I would like to like the app, it has a promising set up for helpful access for parents to have for their kids. However, as other reviews have stated, UI/UX is absolute garbage - the most prominent example being that pages with text boxes do not scale with opening the keyboard, so the keyboard completely covers the textbox and prevents you from being able to see what you are typing.

I would love to post a picture of the screen here, the email "headers" are so huge they take up more than half my phone screen, there is no way to scroll past them, close them, or shrink them. So, when writing an "email" to my kids teachers, I cannot read the message I'm typing while the keyboard is open. It's insanely frustrating and horrible design.

11 times as big as the old app and a third as useful. The app is really slow. There is no way to search. It ported in stuff from the old app (hundreds of messages over 8 years) and marked them all as unread. The only way to mark them as read is to open every single one and that doesn't always work. Sometimes you have to open them multiple times. plus deal with the wait symbol every time you scroll one screen down. Wish I could keep the old app.
