Awesome game. Initially it was kind of boring. But as the game proceeds it keeps on getting more interesting . I liked the mini games and also the game helped me in learning new english words. Oh there is so much paraphernalia :v in game to collect
Great game! I was really surprised to find such an intriguing story in a free app, and I finished the whole thing in one go. In the next update I would like to see a list of achievements (instead of having to wait until the end) and an option to re-read the chapters to figure out which choices are better for the mind, body, etc. Can't wait for the next book to be released! EDIT: can all the achievements be completed?? I'm going nuts trying to get each one.
I love this game. I used to play the 'choose your own adventure' books as a kid and this brings back happy memories. I think the eighth continent is better written than the old books though. One thing I find frustrating is not knowing how to get all the achievements. I've played over and over and there are still some I can't get. I wish there was a walkthrough for achievements. I'm currently playing yet again and trying to do a walkthrough at the same time so I can see where I'm missing things. I could do with more 'save' slots - one for each chapter would be nice. Great app though. Can't wait for part 3.
Changed my opinion!! I was never a fan of text games..but This game is based on post Apocalypse story, that got me...and must say...i am hooked to it. Although this game is perfect in its category and for people who are not bored by reading, It would make a great 3d game..Anyways thanks for this amazing game!
Very Entertaining This game is well written, has likeable characters, and high replay value. I enjoyed the inclusion of the minigames to break up the text and offer a different element to the CYOA genre. (For anyone who dislikes or has trouble with the minigames, you can chose to skip them in your settings.) I would highly recommend this game and look forward to playing the second game.
Best interactive reading game I've played several interactive reading games and this is BY FAR the best. Captivating story, beautifully written, I mean, you really can't compare this descriptive masterpiece to others. I can't get over how talented the writer is. You'd have to read the story to know what I mean. This isn't high-school writing, that's for sure. The other interactive stories I've played use plain, almost dull, language in their work, but this is colorful artwork! The little games and stuff throughout are also a nice perk
1) Improved fight help text and added help text for dynamic options.
2) Various typos and minor fixes.
3) Vendor now update if the player consumes saleable items from their inventory.
4) Vendor mini-games stay a minimum height to make help dialogs easier to read when the item list is short.
