The excessive notifications, pop-ups, and gamification within the app is cancerous. I turned all the notifications to "Infrequent", and it's still too much. I don't want to be constantly attacked with attention-grabbing pop-ups within the app. It's ugly and toxic behavior. The quality of items and shipping is low-tier. Over half of the items I received had their boxes crushed. Luckily, I didn't order any fragile items.

Temu has a wide variety of products to buy and that makes it cool. But there's constant long pop up ads for the app (coupons you get after you buy something) that you cannot skip, and you always have to spend over $10 to be able to place an order. The "games" take an excruciatingly long time to complete, and I dont even think you could complete them without being forced to invite people. Overall, the app is incredibly shady and a complete waste of time. It's incredibly disappointing.

mostly cheap quality items but there are some great deals and sometimes very good quality items for a great price. don't fall for the trap of games and coupons! I have yet to get anything for free by playing the games or sharing links with others, it just keeps moving the goal to win and makes it virtually impossible to get the prize at the end...
