About this app

This app will provided for West Virginia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Michigan citizens seeking to apply for assistance with one or more household needs. A variety of services are available through local Community Action Agencies and other community services providers. Eligibility for most assistance programs is based on household income and available funding. The following is a preliminary application intended to provide just enough information to service providers so they can contact you and complete the application process.

New app needs tweaking: when typing numbers in, it acts up. For example, when you type 256, it would sometimes allow 2, then would not type 5. Had to hit the space bar first, then type 5. Did not appear to make actual space, but 80% of the time had to hit the space bar to type next number. Sometimes it would take numbers together. BC of this, LITTLITE app may not've taken my address, ssi, phone#'s & correctly, which may've caused a rejection of my LIHEAP application.

Doesn't always scan doc. properly. Takes several try's to get it to upload. Other than that it's simple and I find it easier to use then having to go stand in line at the office risking exposure to covid and putting the nice employee at risk too. I'm sure the app make it easier for them to use too.

I filled out and sent in my info on time to receive assistance. I found out the day of power disconnect that my county no longer uses the app. Other counties in my state do not not mine. I received a quick response back from the developer that it must be turned off by the county. My county apparently did not do this. Please contact or check with your local office after submitting the suggestion to confirm the app is still being used
