For £1.25 its Ok. Basically its a super cheap Rosetta Stone. Sometimes it can be confusing to what the sentence means. I would love a English translation is it 'A man walks? A man is walking, the man walks? it can be tough to tell due to some of the pictures being ambiguous but overall I enjoy this app. Some of the sentences are a bit weird like "The plate is flying" and some of the romaji translations have minor mistakes.
support may be inadequate in terms of response time this app is a delight, but if you experience difficulty getting the app to run, you will need to be patient. downloading the database will be a VERY slow affair, but it can be done. response time from support, when i encountered this problem, was dismal but support was ultimately provided
Gets the message across... Most of the time. Good for vocab but not so much for grammar. I tried using some of the sentence structures taught by this app with native speakers and they became confused. Seems that saying "The dish flew." doesn't really work in a sentence in Japanese. Perhaps in one of the other languages this format uses, but not really this one based on my personal experience.
