This was working fine until today. After restarting my phone the icon changed into 2 icons, one on top of the other. Never seen anything like this before. They can be separated but cannot be removed. The label has dissappered and the badge count is partially hidden behind the front icon. I tried to delete it Ewand re-add it but can't remove it. When I add a new one it does not show the label or badge. Something has gone seriously wrong.

This works perfectly for Gmail. Thanks a lot! The Android 9 version has an issue (or rather, Samsung has not customized it well) due to which apps that show Unread Badge count, such as Gmail, Whatsapp, FB, SMS etc., show an incorrect or Zero count (or, after I open and close an app, the count simply disappears from the Home screen, though I have not yet read the email or Whatsapp message.) This app has restored the correct Unread count for Gmail. We never know when Google and /or Samsung will take their bug seriously and set it right. Therefore, can you PLEASE design similar Unread Badge counts for Whatsapp and SMSes too?

No longer works at all with most recent UI update from Samsung. "Error: Can't start Gmail". Replaced with Gmail widget. Was: Now with ads - don't download or update! Went from 5 Stars to 1. The "UI update" just added ads and another step before you get to you email. I recommend no one downloads this app. It used to be useful, now it's an inconvenience. I'll look for another solution, I suggest everyone else does too. Developers need to understand that you can't just put ads on user's phones.
