Soo the Endomondo apps not really anymore bringing new things to the table anymore. Not even build in support for the most used sportswatch today .. Garmin ... Unless you use Garmin connect that already can do more than Endomondo... Soo use Garmin connect or just Googles own fitness tracker.. it does the same or even more ..!!
Great app with some awesome interface. Have tried different apps of similar style, but I always faced some or the other problems with GPS. This is the only app with which my GPS works well and tracks the route perfectly. Love this one. Apart from that, it would be great if they added more features in the free version of the app (I wouldnt mind a few more popup ads considering the convenience this app has given me).
I initially wanted to give this app 5 stars, but then I discovered that the premium version is subscription based rather than a one time pay deal. A monthly or annual subscription fee for what? Server maintenance? Development expenses? This is ridiculous. I'd be more than happy to buy this app for a reasonable price, but a subscription fee is not done on consumer apps like this. This will cost you 2 stars, which is a shame, because I'm sure the apps is great. The strategy to get money from it needs work.
What has happened to this app? I am having the same problem as before that was eventually corrected. Only worse. The GPS is cutting out thereby missing some of my workout. The app is switching the workout avtivity that I choose. I guess it is time to switch to another app. I am leaving the first part because I started having GPS problems after the last update. Also, I lost over 2 miles of walking. The distance would not update. So I stopped that session and started another session. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Please FIX!!!!!
Love it for tracking runs and walks. Works well with android wear. The only thing that seems off is the calorie burning. Mine might say 50kcal for an hour's bike ride yet my husband's says 600. My personal details are correct.
I want to use and love Endomondo, because it's the sports tracking app my wife uses on her phone and it can track many more sports/activities than can Strava, my current tracking app. Unfortunately, Endomondo does not allow me to track activities from my Sony Smartwatch 3 without my phone present, and that's a deal-breaker for me. Strava can do that, so I accept no excuses from any other service trying to claim that it's just not possible to have the app track solely from my watch.
