Review from John Welling
Good but could be Great Needs better tracking and utilization of HR monitor including graphs and coaching to HR goals. Need integration with ANT+ dongle as very few devices have ANT+ built in. With thoughtful additions, could be great app.
Excellent tracker. Been using for a while
Ammmm Well! I Didn't Like this Because when the Screen was off and Endomondo stop Working Please Solve This Problem Immediately
Soo the Endomondo apps not really anymore bringing new things to the table anymore. Not even build in support for the most used sportswatch today .. Garmin ... Unless you use Garmin connect that already can do more than Endomondo... Soo use Garmin connect or just Googles own fitness tracker.. it does the same or even more ..!!
Great app with some awesome interface. Have tried different apps of similar style, but I always faced some or the other problems with GPS. This is the only app with which my GPS works well and tracks the route perfectly. Love this one. Apart from that, it would be great if they added more features in the free version of the app (I wouldnt mind a few more popup ads considering the convenience this app has given me).
I initially wanted to give this app 5 stars, but then I discovered that the premium version is subscription based rather than a one time pay deal. A monthly or annual subscription fee for what? Server maintenance? Development expenses? This is ridiculous. I'd be more than happy to buy this app for a reasonable price, but a subscription fee is not done on consumer apps like this. This will cost you 2 stars, which is a shame, because I'm sure the apps is great. The strategy to get money from it needs work.
Endomondo is now the third sports tracking app (Google Fit & Strava being the others) to let me track activities using just my Sony Smartwatch 3. Better still, Endomondo allows me to track a wide variety of sports/activities, unlike Strava, which tracks only runs and bike rides. I also really like Endomondo's social sharing options. It's not perfect, though; one thing I miss from Strava is the ability to track mileage for my shoes.
