Could be better Limited by the fact you can only add your own route if you go to the main website. This would be fine but trying to draw your own route using my HTC phone is virtually impossible and very frustrating. It means I have to use my laptop or a desktop to draw a route before loading it which really undermines the purpose for me I.e. to be able to map and draw routes on the go whenever they spring into my head.
I have been using Endomondo for 5 years now. I love it. There are a lot of exercises to choose from. I have phone and app paired with an HRM and love the heart rate tracking. I am not a big fan of the new split screen on Android. I don't want my workout and map on the same screen. I like the previous screen format. Why is there a map on my treadmill workout or stationary bike workout or when I jump rope. The map really only applies to some workouts.
Fantastic app. Very accurate calorie counts based on my comparison to other applications. The only thing I would add, is the integration of external Hr monitor with the Tizen app. Yah. I know this isn't the forum, but maybe I will get lucky and a product manager reads this.
Have been a premium member for just under a year now and up till recently have loved the app but this new update has made everything so much more difficult. Update is harder to navigate and lacks some of the features that the old one did. The only thing I like about this new update is the fact that you have to press and hold the stop button to end workout.
Used to be an awesome app, when it was free. Now like so many other things, it is freemium since under armour bought it. The only reason I still use it is because it syncs with MyFitnessPal easily.
I am a premium subscriber for several years now. This new update has screwed everything up. I went trail running using my Forerunner 935, and when I synced my workout, Endomondo changed the activity to Running instead of Trail Running (it did not do this last time) AND it nearly doubled the calorie expenditure recorded by my forerunner. Look, leave my watch data alone and don't manipulate it in anyway. Obviously it is more accurate than your own ridiculous calorie calculation. Thumbs down for this update. Way down. Might look for other similiar app once my subscription ends in a few months. Bah!
Hi, I am an annual subscriber, After the Update the New User Interface is VERY TIME CONSUMING - COMPLEX and DISAPPOINTING. With the previous User Interface it needed only 3 taps on the screen to change workout and Start. With the new user interface it takes 6 taps for the exact same thing. To be more specific, you need to tap the gear icon, the change the workout, then go back, the tap Start and then tap again that idiot start now button! Really? There is absolutely no need for all this procedure back and forth for something that was just in front of you. You changed something that was working fine to something that is useless. You think that we run and bike while looking at the map?? that is why you put it into the first screen and hided other more important functions such as HR Views??? You should update to make our life more easy not more difficult! Please Do Consider making the interface as it was before!!!!
