I am having a difficult time setting up the translator. It does not work without a wifi or phone connection. The purpose of this translator was to work independently of a wifi or phone connection which may not be able to connect in a foreign country. I called customer service and they were no help. They sent me a lame video thet lasted less than 2 min. There should be a way to work independently but no one can explain. Can some help???

App connects to the Bluetooth device only once or twice.. The device is clearly connected, you can listen to music through it, you can use it as a microphone but the app just sits there waiting 2 connect to the device. I spend $90 on what was to be a quality translator, It worked great the 2 times I could actually use it. Very frustrating..

It only worked one time and I had to have WiFi and stand still. I have to hold both the phone AND the device to use it.... How is that convenient? It only was able to translate Spanish and French the others never downloaded. All that doesn't even matter anymore. Bc 2nd time trying to use it... Does not connect, device says it's connected but my phone doesn't it just spins and spins trying to connect. And you read at bottom "Please wait while connecting " but it never does. So it's useless
