I used to LOVE this app; it was simple, convenient, and useful. I had kept my number for a few years. I used it for mainly doctor, work, and school. I would text once a month to keep my number, but now it's like 2-3 days I have to text to keep it. Which is utterly annoying, and it's filled with spam calls. I'm looking into getting an actual service provider now because textnow is just kind of pointless and useless.

Good app to have if you need a second number fast for work purposes or personal reasons. However, there are caveats to it. 1) You get ads popping up after almost every call. 2) Certain features are only given once subscribed to 'lock in' for $1.99 Per Week. 3) If your job requires lots of calls, you will temporarily have your number dropped/suspended while free. 4) Latest bug includes freezing mid-call and won't hang up until you uninstall-reinstall the app.

Extremely frustrated. I rely on this app for business, but it constantly marks messages as 'Sent' when they are never delivered to clients. This created a nightmare where I thought clients were ignoring me while they thought I was ghosting them. I have no idea how long this glitch has been occurring, but it has caused major scheduling issues & hurt my reputation. It is unacceptable that the app confirms messages as 'Sent' when they never actually reach the recipient. Looking for a different app.
