## Mass Concrete

This programm can be used to estimate the temperature rise and strength development of fresh concrete. On basis of the input like type of binder, binder content, fresh concrete temperature, formwork type and pour thickness the maximum temperature, the temperature differential between the core and the concrete surface and the compressive strength development are calculated. The program can also be used to calculate the risk of early-age cracking and the crack width and to determine the optimum formwork striking time. The strength development of concrete can also be calculated for thin sections and for accelerated curing and the program includes a maturity method.

The temperature rise of the concrete is calculated with a finite element method, which results in a large number of calculations. Depending on the processor, the calculations may take between 2 and 10 seconds.

This program is intended for demonstrations only. Use professional software for actual construction work.

## Statics

Statics is a "must have" mobile software for every engineer (in particular civil or building), architect, Statics and Building science student.

In fact it's a fast standard beam solver (currently supported, cantilever, inclined, arches, fixed - fixed and fixed supported beams loaded with forces, moments and distributed loads) that calculates moments, shears, axial forces, rotations and lowerings by simply inserting input parameters (many of them are also suggested by the program itself, like Young's modulus or material's weight). It's also possible calculate the area moment of inertia for rectangular sections.

Design &/or check steel beams using the most common steel sections for every kind of statics and by controlling the maximum lowering allowed (L/250, L/400, L/500).

The program also has a list of all standard equations used to solve the beams, so you can easily know what is the general equation for every case.

## Concrete Beam Design

This is an application for professional civil and structural engineers or students. It is able to design based on eurocode 2 (EC2) rectangular and flanged (T beams) beams and utilizes the latest European code for concrete. The application covers the flexural , shear and torsion design.

The user provides the section dimensions ,material strength ( yielding ), redistribution factor, the rebar diameters and of course the actions (Bending moment , Shear force and Torsion )

Also the application can calculate the section properties of a given section both rectangular and flanged T sections. It outputs the uncracked centroid of the section , the uncracked Second moment of area ( or moment of inertia ), the cracked centroid , the cracked second moment of area , the cracking moment , the elastic modulus of concrete and the tensile strength of concrete.
