I really like the app except when it switches to something else without any warning. I would pay for this app upfront except for that. I am a 74 year old with ADD and have a over 50% short-term memory loss problem. I have had a problem with my spelling for my whole life. I can look at a word and 99% of the time I can tell if is is spelled correctly or not. But some words I cannot spell to save my life. I get upset when the app stops working because something else pops up!

It can pronounce a word that is typed in. It can pronounce a difficult word selected from a extensive list of words but these words are not in alphabetical order. App writers are you listening? It can 'pronounce correct' the alphabet. It can speak a story from a list of 19 stories. It has a small footprint. Definitely worth a try.

They just ruined this with ads This was an a+ 5-star app until they put ads on it and there is no way that I have found so far to buy them or buy the app outright with no ads. I would! But now that the ads are on it, I will be deleting this app from my phone and trying to find something else. Don't waste your time. Terrible app now. App sucks. Had suck you're trying to spell you don't need a giant screen selling you something you need to be able to spell. You guys are awful for doing this.
