Unable to put orders in from the app... Probably one of the most important reasons why there is an Epic app, right? What irks me most is that Apple phone users can place orders via their Epic Canto app. Unable to see what specialty is consulting in notes and have to select each note or know the provider's name, otherwise it takes some time to go through a chart from the app. Unable to access Hospital Course in hand off and need the computer to use best functionality.

Thank you for the feedback. Bringing features on Android to match iOS is on our future roadmap and we have several projects under active development, including support for Ordering. Please let us know if there are any specific features that would be most beneficial for you via email at Haikuhelp@epic.com and include the details listed here.

The app gets a 2 * review because it has known issues for a while that aren't fixed when it comes to user interface & functionality compared to the iPhone app. There is no quick link to vitals, so you have to dig through the summary section to assess stability. Certain note types aren't viewable in app. eg. quick notes that often explain what happens overnight/between progress notes. Most damaging tho is still the complete inability to put in orders from your phone. Please get with it, Epic.

The app is barely functional. It's useful ok rounds, but sometimes it doesn't update patient information, so you'll have old medicine lists on haiku that is 3-4d behind. Also, the Android version of Haiku lags behind the iOS version by years. You can't look at imaging, you can't put in orders, and you can't edit notes at all (you can only write new ones sans templates). Get the app, but only because it's better than nothing.
