Can't place orders. Can't see MAR. Can't see vitals easily. Layout is confusing and time consuming compared to the iOS version. App is janky overall. Got an iPhone though? Then Epic will cater to your needs, otherwise get lost my fellow Android "peasants". Recommend carrying a laptop with you at all times during rounds. You will be let down routinely

Thank you for the feedback. Bringing features on Android to match iOS is on our future roadmap and we have several projects under active development, including support for Ordering. Please reach out to Haikuhelp@epic.com with what organization you work with so that your technical teams can be in the loop about any future enhancements.

The app gets a 2 * review because it has known issues for a while that aren't fixed when it comes to user interface & functionality compared to the iPhone app. There is no quick link to vitals, so you have to dig through the summary section to assess stability. Certain note types aren't viewable in app. eg. quick notes that often explain what happens overnight/between progress notes. Most damaging tho is still the complete inability to put in orders from your phone. Please get with it, Epic.

The app is barely functional. It's useful ok rounds, but sometimes it doesn't update patient information, so you'll have old medicine lists on haiku that is 3-4d behind. Also, the Android version of Haiku lags behind the iOS version by years. You can't look at imaging, you can't put in orders, and you can't edit notes at all (you can only write new ones sans templates). Get the app, but only because it's better than nothing.
