Love the app Hate the support The app is great. I love it. Support is bad. The scheduled update now works on my phone. But that doesn't excuse support. Email was ineffective. Phone support was the worse I have ever dealt with. The guy was obnoxious, rude and condescending. Those were his good traits. Seriously, the guy should be fired. It wasn't lack of training or knowledge, it was outright, intentional nastiness. Never in all my 60 years have I ever dealt with someone like this. And it can't be blamed on overseas support.
Very helpful on rounds I'd like to have the option to disable the alerts from popping up when I start the app. Usually when I use the app I just need to quickly look up dosing or whatever, and when I have to click through the pointless alerts it wastes time.
Make sure it's not on SD card. I love this app, I got the new Amazon Blu phone. It crashes as soon i open it. I found out you have to make sure it is directly installed on the phone's storage.
Was a great app when it worked on my Android 5+ Samsung devices. Has been using it for years. However since the app does not work on my S7 Edge (and I tried 3 different ROMs!!) which I find frustrating since that is with me always. Works fine on my MM tablet though. Several updates have failed to solve this. Support was trying but unhelpful. I had to downgrade to ePocrates v15.8.1 (from interent) which works fine but I had to disable auto-update. I hope I am not missing anything with these updates. Would give it a 5 star rating if an update worked on my S7E.
Perfect for pharmacy students! A must have for any student studying towards a professional degree in healthcare. Epocrates provides quick, concise, and vital information relating to drugs, interactions, and diseases, all in a functionally simple UI.
Use it with my patients frequently
