Awful. Cannot use a password manager to fill passwords. Pasting a password is also not possible - the app crashes. When I manually filled in my 40 character password, it failed to remember it and asked me to login again the next time I launched it. Unusable.
Pretty decent basic app with a few kinks that need to be worked out. For anyone having problems depositing a cheque make sure to put your cheque on a dark solid colour background. It was only when doing that that the app when not crash after taking pictures of the cheque.
I'm on the edge of changing where I store my savings because of how bad this app is. I mean that, 2.3% interest rate might not be worth it because using this app is honestly that painful. Please EQ, it's been over a year. Fix the app before I go insane. I beg you.
I recommend eq bank customers just use the mobile website. It's the same interface, but a lot more responsive. This app feels bloated and laggy. The chat feature is especially bad and delayed when compared to the mobile app. For something that's a carbon copy in functionality, I really wonder what the issue could be. Likely very poor optimization when it was ported from the web to the play store.
I have 3 other banking apps and it's laughable how bad this app is! I haven't seen any improvements in a year and the interest rate may not be worth the headache
App crashes when trying to paste into login fields (e.g. when pasting password from a password manager). Crashes when trying to change the date for a transfer. Really terrible app, which is surprising for an online only bank...
