The ERZmobil is a new, innovative mobility offer in the area of ​​the city of Zwönitz. A fully electric minibus runs on scheduled services between defined entry and exit points. In contrast to classic bus lines, the ERZmobil only runs after prior booking via this app. Spontaneous service on the go without a booking is not possible. Furthermore, there are no longer any fixed lines, as was previously the case. Instead, depending on the bookings made, each trip can have a different route. When planning the routes, however, it is taken into account that it is always possible to be at the station in Zwönitz on the hour to enable the transfer from or to the trains of the Chemnitz City Bahn. This makes it possible for all districts of Zwönitz to offer a connection to the city center and the hourly rail service in the direction of Aue and Chemnitz. At the same time, empty runs of the vehicle are avoided, since it only drives when passengers actually need it. In this way, resources can be conserved, since wear and tear and energy consumption of the vehicle are reduced.
