My last review was 8 years ago, update! I use this every day, and couldn't happier with it. I don't use the app except to connect to the unit to enable GPS. it has saved me countless times and I can only imagine paid for itself many times over. Driving across the US it's a must have. Usual warning is about a mile or more depending on terrain. POP alerts are useful but you need to understand the unit. Ka is usually always true alerts. if this ever dies will be Purchasing another.

Seems to be difficult to close the app completely.. it keeps prompting that it's still running.. when closing the app it only prompts to choose close or run in background, every second time you open and close it..frustratingly it keeps prompting to install the new app even though the new app is not compatible with my setup.

This used to be a 5 star app. Now I struggle to give it one star. It rarely connects to my radar detector. And when it does, it's because I keep shutting the phone off and starting it until it does connect. Once connected, it does not always have the drop down screen allowing me to "lock out" the "K" band. So when I'm in a big city or suburb, I have to listen to the detector go off and then I have to hit the mute button all day. This has become a horrible app. Escort has dropped the ball.
