• This app uses Accessibility services API to collect data about visited websites and to send alerts when malicious websites are detected.
• Some features require Background location permission to fully function. Giving permission to access background location will allow you to localize your device in case it goes missing.
• This app uses the Device Administrator permission. This permission allows you to remotely wipe your device in case it is lost or stolen (for Android 13 and lower).

I have been using this scanner for many years and I have many years to go. I'm paid up for years to come. Scans fast and have never had a breach on my phone yet, relative to the app. Got some warnings like web based stuff but nothing went through. This app paired with a VPN is an almost unbeatable pair. There's many features that I have activated that are included in the fee. Setup is pretty intuitive but the more time you initially invest, the more you get out of its safety features.

Had a notifications issue, but no longer. The current version works well. 5 stars. 1/16-Whenever the app is opened, a message appears saying to enable notifications, and when you tap its details box, nothing happens. Have to run a scan or go into another screen and then come back to remove the message. I've already given the app permission for notifications that are enabled. So, deleted the app, installed a previous version, and the msg no longer pops up. Needs a fix, then rating to 5.

I been using Eset Antivirus software for many years and I have good experience. The company who make the software have decades of good reputation in the security software area, I looked and it doesn't any complaint about leaks of data like some of the major security software competitors Norton and Avast. I Would like the Eset company sale the Eset VPN software on Amazon or Best Buy store because is easier to purchase in those apps.
