Ratings and reviews

I'm not happy with the way the app is laid out and the location of where everything is. It's lacking something. What's the point of asking me my favorite teams if you're gonna make it semi-complicated to sort out what I want to see, and what I don't. I liked previous versions of your app much better, there's too much going on and it feels a little overwhelming. This is a example of letting great be the enemy of perfect, and finding yourself somewhere around.. decent.

app is terrible. after closing the app, it will often start playing video ads in the background which you can hear if your audio is on, and once you figure out ESPN is the app playing audio, the only way to get it to stop is to force close the app. also if you set up game alerts for NBA games, it often sends push alerts with incorrect quarter/half scores, adding/removing a point or two from a teams score. for highlighs it often plays the ad before, but then fails to play the clip.

This app is an absolute joke unless you already have a subscription to a TV provider, making it entirely pointless for cord-cutters. What’s even more absurd is the concept of paying for ESPN+ when it still forces you to rely on a cable provider to access most content. It defeats the entire purpose of streaming. ESPN has completely missed the mark here, offering nothing but frustration for anyone trying to move away from outdated cable bundles. This is the opposite of progress.
